Flocking

Flock heat transfers, or flocking, is a process in which short fibers of rayon, cotton, wool, or another natural or synthetic material are applied to an adhesive-coated surface using heat and pressure. A flocked transfer adds a new dimension to your design and creates a velvet or suede-like texture on the surface. Since the fibers can be dyed, flocking can also be a unique way to add any color to the printed area of your item.

Our art team expertly plots flock transfers by hand, and all transfers are applied in our Carrollton, Texas facility by our decorating staff. Some of the most successful designs involve multiple embellishing transfers to create beautiful, head-turning custom garments, so feel free to combine flocking with other decorating techniques such as nailheads or embroidery. No custom apparel project is too complicated for our experienced design and production teams to handle.
